Why we like PNN over MySpace

Why we like PNN over MySpace

Sure, MySpace has flashing, pretty colors, big ads and endless headshots of people we don't know, but honestly, PNN has personal stories and actual people writing on a regular basis. The Puppet Press likes PNN because we can write articles and publish them without knowing html, or having to find it from random websites.

PNN lets us format our page with ease, and for some of us puppets, that's a really good thing. (You try typing with your fingers stitched together. PNN makes it super easy and fun for us to add text and video to our page. We suggest that you and your puppet friends start writing on PNN and as always, have fun!

Here is what our MySpace page looks like:

Happy Holidays: It's August! Apple email at it's Best!

Happy Holidays: It's August! Apple email at it's Best!

Too Early for the Holidays?
Not according to Apple. It's August 15th and already they're sending a holiday email, reminding the faithful following of iPod/iPhone/iLife/iDon't Have a LIfe users to get on the bandwagon and shell out cash for a winter gift. So they're 4 months early... Can we say "someone didn't have another good email to send?" We don't blame them. It must be hard at their email writing department... after all, emailing everyone who's ever bought or thought about an Apple product with every single OS update, iPod incarnation, iTunes new artist spotlight... we get about 3 emails a WEEK from Apple. ATTN: APPLE, We love you already. Don't paly these silly promo games. Stick to the catchy dancing ads and funny Chiat\Day videos we know and love.

Skittles Rabbit: A Puppet?

Skittles Rabbit: A Puppet?

Many of you have seen it. The Skittels rabbit commercial. The tale of want and betrayal. The idea that we can be betrayed by the very thing we want and the very thing we had. Loss. Love. Lust. All these things summed up in a candy commercial. So many of you may wonder what puppet sold out. Was it Puffin the white bunny? Wiggles the rabbit? No. The Skittels rabbit is NOT A PUPPET! It is a cable controled mechanical beast. We hope no one is offended, and we hope this does not damage the good name of puppets.

A Day at the Zeum

Are you visiting San Francisco this summer? Zeum is a fun place to explore.

Zeum, as in "museum" is a technology and arts center that gives kids, parents and teachers a hands-on approach to media. Zeum has create-your-own music video workshops, a news broadcasting studio and even a puppet theater. Next to Zeum is the Zeum Store, which sells many things, including PUPPETS! We recommend this place as a great summer destination in San Francisco.
